Dr Huma Naz Siddiqui Baqai is distinguished Service Professor of International Relations at The Institute of Business Administration Karachi, Department of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts, where she has taught since 2007 to date.

She has served IBA two years as an Associate Dean, Faculty of Business Administration Karachi (January 2018-December 2020). She joined IBA as an Assistant Professor from January 2007 to October 2007. She has served IBA as a Chairperson Department of Social Sciences, IBA Karachi from January 2010 to April 2013. She has also provided her services as a Director of Public Affairs and Communication Department, IBA Karachi from September 2013 to September 2017. Currently, she is also a Visiting Senior Fellow at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) and a Visiting Faculty at National Institute of Management (NIM) Karachi and Command and Staff College, Quetta.

Professor Huma Naz Siddiqui has written extensively about national and international politics more generally. She is also a scholar, reviewer, author, and co-editor of two books known as Pakistan-Afghanistan Relations: Pitfalls and Way Forward and Making Sense of Post COVID-19 Politics. She is an author of more than twenty-nine national and international research articles published in renowned journals such as American Research Institute for Policy Development, New York, United States, Journal of International Relations and Foreign Policy, Asian Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, Japan, International Journal of Business and Social Science, Pakistan Horizon, Pakistan Perspective, Journal of Management Sciences etc. She is a part of Track-II diplomacy between Pakistan and Afghanistan and a member of Board of Directors of more than ten Educational Institutions, Private and Non-Profit organizations. She is also a certified Corporate Trainer from the International Academy for Leadership, Gummersbach, Germany.
