Prof. Dr. Huma Baqai serves as the Rector and Professor at the Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (MiTE), Karachi, and is recognized as one of Pakistan’s leading experts in international relations, governance, and higher education leadership. With over 30 years of experience in academia, research, and policy analysis, she is a distinguished author, media commentator, and academic strategist, contributing to thought leadership in global governance, education innovation, and strategic development.
Dr. Huma Baqai previously served as Associate Professor at IBA Karachi and has authored three major books along with 40+ research articles and book chapters published in reputable national and international journals. Her research expertise spans foreign policy, Pakistan–Afghanistan relations, political transitions, conflict studies, and global governance.
Widely recognized for her 20+ years of media engagement, Dr. Baqai contributes regularly to leading TV channels, newspapers, and current affairs platforms, providing insights on international relations, governance, and socio-political developments. A certified corporate trainer, she has delivered professional development and leadership training for over 15 years across the corporate, public, and development sectors.
